	Spromak Ltd manufactures Socketweld and Threaded Outlets to many design codes (e.g. ASME B31.3) and fully comply with the requirements of ASME/ANSI B16.11. A full design facility is offered which can provide advice on any aspect of branch reinforcing branch fitting design. The fittings have undergone extensive proof testing and the integrity of the design can be proven with design calculations to any design code provided the purchaser submits the design conditions. The following data will be required in order to provide an accurate quotation for your requirements: - Header size: O.D. or I.D. or N.B. Branch size: O.D. or I.D. or N.B. Branch wall thickness: schedule, or actual thickness. Header wall thickness: schedule, or actual thickness. Base material (e.g. ASTM A182 F51) Any additional requirements: e.g. material specifications etc. Rating of the fitting: (e.g. 6000Lb.) Type of thread for threaded outlets. Reinforcement calculations can be provided for any product in the Spromak range although the Design conditions stated below must be provided: - Design code: (e.g. ASME B31.8) Design temperature Design pressure Design stress for both header and branch pipes. · Material for both header and branch pipes. Corrosion allowance for both header and branch pipes. Mill tolerance for both header and branch pipes.
